![]() JuxtapositionA Poem by Ben Taylor![]() A mere description.![]() Bulbous and sagging, The yellowed fingernail-clipping Of a moon Floats stagnantly on the Oily backdrop of the night. The slow addition of minutes To hours Drags her aged And bloated Sliver Down through the Diamond speckled tar And into the horizon. As her leprous frown retires, The playful eye of the sun gazes Upon the ubiquitous Ink stains of nocturnal Tattoo-holism-- Reveling in his solitude, He joyously incites the rustles, Whispers, And bustles of early morning. And thus, The day begins.
