Tin Battle

Tin Battle

A Poem by d_money (sounds like need money)
"

Just something for all ages

"
As the rain pelts the tin
I sit and imagine
A battle of the ages has abruptly began
From the war cries, to the cannons
The clash of swords, the smell of blood
I can even hear the general bragging
Ha,ha,ha, we shall stand tall men
For our king, country, sons and daughters
For bosom of the w***e you suckle, before
your blade let all of our enemies fall till the end
The horses rush with knights in full
Dodging the craters left by the vigilante saddle bag bombing mules
Blow, blow, blow the rain hits the tin
Heart racing, anxiously wanting to hop out of this Rockingchair
With sword drawn and shield in hand, impaling the enemy I have grown to hate with-in
Sadly the rain stops, and the sun is unhidd
Wow, that was amazing.
Truly a story for the grand kids.
