5 misconceptions that you'd rather not knowA Poem by st★rgirlday 1 of 'not touching grass' streak1. rage is not made of gasoline and reckless light flicks rage is tidbits of stars ground by a mortar and pestle very manmade. very intentional. 2. girlhood is not soft lace and linen it is bloodied carnage and resisting the urge to become your father you will always mourn the child you never were 3. to love is not to be gentle to love is to not let breathe (be horrified at the thought of looseing the gags) to love, is to suffocate expect untimely demise 4. poison rarely comes bottled when god bore you hungry feeding off rotten bones off rotten people comes easier to swallow 5. you are never home and never understood know that you belong with severed lambs on slaughterhouse floors the butcher knows you better than your mother CONCLUSION: you will probably die angry breathless mauled homesick and unclaimed the stars subjected to the love of my mortar and pestle, stars scratching my throat as i wash them down with liquid soap. no amount of scrubbing inside out helps to remember less of you and with the stars i crush myself brown and golden as you set us both aflame with the promise of letting me house within, i hold your arteries shut. © 2024 st★rgirlAuthor's Note
