Love and pain, we are one

Love and pain, we are one

A Poem by Pale Divine

Waiting here once again for outstretched arms that never came,
embracing only dreams of a better world I am make believe the sadness is  what you and I will never share it seems. For love and pain, and we are one.
I can't recall the happiness we shared, or the times we were together, it was never there.
Years have stolen my time with you, these winter tears fallen into a cold uncaring heart.
Love, you mock me well, for you are such a mystery.
Do you ever think of what it was like to have a part of you that still lives on, do you even know that I exist or was I blotted out of your heart as well.

Some where in time, we are one
Some where in the night, am I the only one.
Some where some how, despite the night of passion play I became your one your son.

So now I go on living incomplete, and worlds apart.
You left us all, without out knowing what you left behind.
I think of you, I think of her.
She and I, it is too late til I leave the Earth and sky behind.
Yet what becomes of you and I, when you come to me so late at night where were you.
Two souls or one, I guess I will never really know now.
