When she came to me

When she came to me

A Poem by Pale Divine

A windswept soul, lost touch with all that is to be alive in a world that steals hearts for darkness. Time is but an illusion we live it and walk right into eternity for there we find our most cherished dreams that lead us on to reason. There is tragedy, and there is death but never the end like an never ending cycle we are traveling out of time. I asked her for her name, she looked at me and said sorrow is my name and lies are the gifts that I partake in. I gone years without love and pain was my only friend. Would you care to touch my heart and prove me wrong. When she came to me, she came in colors of sadness and left me as the rain fell on us both. Do you love me, do you want me, do you even know the reason for this charade that we both played along hiding away, so far away. I will see you again some day, I will come to you in colors of sadness just to show you this is real this is you and I. That which you take away from me some day I will reclaim. Someday soon I will be complete in your eyes.

I felt subdued by the entire piece. "Colors of Sadness" is nicely worded and blends beautifully with your piece. I was pulled in and looking for something more than complete in your eyes.
