In Dreams of color and lightA Poem by Pale Divine
And do you say goodbye long after my winter's reign. Do you speak through walls and listen to nothing when the heart is hidden away. So afraid to touch the hurting and much less afraid to live these lost and lonely years.
Speak to the wind and know her by name, raise your hands to an empty sky who cares. I given away my soul and drenched my love in ecstasy only to have it torn asunder time and time again. Even at night I call your name within dreams of color and light, even at night your love is still once I close my eyes and join the children as they run into the theater of the night. Would she join me now, or just walk away and never know who I once was. A tainted soul, a lost lullaby even Lilith fears my dreams of color and light. © 2014 Pale Divine |
