*For You A temporary requiem*

*For You A temporary requiem*

A Poem by Pale Divine

*For You A temporary requiem*

See the soul with the nocturnal eyes, only she alone bleeds upon this canvas heart.

How real is her pain, does she share it with others or is it your own private sanctuary.

Can a thousand voices hear your cries, who will answer but the suffering servant? Take a chance and walk with him along sorrow’s memory garden.

I know you by name, your songs sleep into my fragile soul. How many crosses can you bear, how many tears can you share? Do you close forever your heart and walk away.

Like the flowers in the rain, like tears that fall  pretty poison. Nightshade walks now through sorrow’s memory garden. Do you still recall her name; do you remember a girl called sorrow?

She lived to love and loved to live all her life perchance someone to touch her, someone to care for her.

She gave her soul away to the angels of the night and lost the fragrance that comes soon after the rain.

Where are you now dream dancer, what has become of you and I, images blown to and fro among souls that only hear but never came to rescue her fleeting life.

Look inward child, tomorrow cannot be a travesty.

I feel attracted to this in fact I feel attracted to requiems the whole I dea of the "repose of souls" has always been one to wonder. Not so keen on the whole Mass element I am afraid but the moment of having to leave this earhtly terreain and then what ? The attractive thing is that unless you are clairvoyant it will remain as something hidden. So the requiem always serves as an affirmation of ideas and in here a respectful "celebration" albeit sombre of the life of somoen precious (we all re I guess) the celebreation of the memories the celebration of her pristine image . And surely enough "Where are you now dream dancer" ? And finnaly "Tomorrow cannot be a treavesty" is there an inclination here that we might be sent back to try better again and again until we fulfill our task?

I wonder...

Thankyou
