Twilight Dawn

Twilight Dawn

A Poem by Pale Divine

Twilight Dawn

Do you ever think of me, have I lost all touch with reality now.
lost within this charade, I am ok yet alone I feel you.
The night comes so deeply, and shatters my dreams of what used to be.
Until I open my eyes and see we lived and loved in misery.
Give and take it was all the same, never there to share as one.
What has become pictures that once ruled my heart and tore apart my soul.
Do I live in the pain and remember it all or just forget and know it was a lesson in life.
Reasons, to exist, reasons to awaken to another day where you and I become broken promises in the ever changing winds of time.

I enjoyed you poem. I know that you can't just forget that love but try not let it mess up the rest of your life. I know that is easier say than done sometimes.
