The Forever People

The Forever People

A Poem by Pale Divine
"

We are spirit beings having a mortal experience.

"

I walk with you through gardens of yesterday, sometimes pain is my only friend and reminds me she is by my side when I read your soul and hear your song at night. for there is where the flowers grow within sorrow's velvet garden of souls.

A touch of fantasy, much less those we meet along the way. I do not even know my name, as much as you think of me I know my destiny falls to ruin each and every dawn. Dreams have a habit of becoming portraits from all my yesterdays.

They walk with me, they talk with me and sup with me along this narrow path we call life. I can say hello to you but do you even know the meaning of the words that fall into your soul am I forever as well?  we are but ghost writers that seem to have found the romance of the forever people....

Thank you all for being so kind in your reviews. Like everyone else on here, I like to share from my heart and soul of things past present and the future. I believe in the language of the soul, I believe in poetry.

hmmmm quite a mysterious journey. this line really caught me 'Dreams have a habit of becoming portraits from all my yesterdays. They walk with me, they talk with me and sup with me along this narrow path we call life.' 'becoming portraits' yes i really like that. the ending seems coherent, as you wrote it 'romance of the forever people' well somehow i can relate to it. anyway, it's a really great piece. good job
