"You will pay!"
You have told me,
but I haven't seen you,
after that silent night,
mixed with your sharped scream,
pointing into my face.
For so many years,
I still haven't paid,
is it because you love me too much?
You are scared you will hurt my heart?

No,
I am not scared,
come now,
show me how you make me pay,
you aren't anything for me,
no need for you to worry,
did you break my heart or not,
just show me how I pay,
you've said
"You will pay"

What don't you like about the piece? Sometimes we learn best from the ones we don't like than the ones we do.

Otherwise, I kinda like it. I think it could be cleaned up so that it's more clear, but it's a break from the more romantic poems you do. That's okay.

The poem is a direct statement. A challenge to know the truth. In my many years of living. I learn no-one can escape pain in a separation. Love or not. I like the poem. A very good poem.
