Meaning Of Life

Meaning Of Life

A Poem by Cynthia

Sitting there

doing nothing

wasting time

how fool am I

I've nothing to do

my body

frozen

staying cool

I don't know

what am I doing

I thought

I am waiting

for someone

I hate

waiting so much

but still

I need to wait

how weird I am

I am foolish

and strange

who am I

it maybe funny

but I just

… …

don't know

I have no idea

why am I here

or born to this world

so I ask

everyone laugh

as they hear my question

I think it's weird

there's nothing

to laugh at

I ask anything

I see

I know

people

animals

things

but everything

either annoy me

or turn away

why was I born?

I am finding

the meaning of life

I can't find it

everyone

I know

I do

seems foolish

I've met

so many people

and creatures

but still

none of them

can answer me

I can't sleep

I can't eat

just trying

to find the answer

by time past

I refuse to ask

anyone

except myself

I know I can't find the answer

anyway

hopeless

stays

Why

I ask myself

why am I here

and why

was I born?

Do you think it's kind of weird? Like asking myself a q. again and again?

I have a feeling we will always ask this question until the day comes that we take our last breath. Then, and only then, will the answers be available to our minds so that we have the capacity to understand. If you were told why you were born right now, where you are, in the form that you are, and the finite mind that you have, you would surely LOSE it (lose your mind).

"Why am I born?" this is a question. A question that does not have any model answerat all.
I don't know why you are asking this kind of questions, but it sounds like you don't want to be born.
I also hate the way people ignore you when you have a quiestion to ask. Maybe they thiught you are foolish, but this kinds of questions can never be solved. At least you can't solve it.
I think that you were born because god thinks that there is something that needs people to help doing it,and he chose you to complete this mission.you only have to wait the mission to appear for you to solve. once I've read a book and it wrote,"everyone should b ehappy because they are born. At last, they have a chance to check this huge place out. the god has gave every unborn baby a present. Some of them are good at writing, some good at singing. Some can hear better, some knows how to make friends. The god gave you this present to be an excellent writer, and you should use this talent wisely. you did a great job this time, and I hope that you can keep it up. because the god gave you this as a present. You should show your talent more.because you are going to be a excellent writer after you grew up.

the eternal questions remain eternal because they cannot be answered...yet we try to make sense til the day that we die...our internal monologue gives us no option but to replay our rhetorical questions over and over til we realise that acceptance is a tranquil option than a hiding to nothing...a slow boat to nowhere...a merry-go-round where the wooden horses laugh at the questions that can never be answered but are asked anyway...inspirational poem

wonderful poem, I can totally relate to this! why is it that people ignore to even see it as a relevant question? if you end up in a murderer's basement you sure as hell ask why, but if you end up in a strange world like this, you don't think twice. :)
