Joseph Campbell talks about writing a new story for the future because its the story, the poem, that will shape our lives. This poem delves into that a bit. Good.
Obviously, you know English as a second language, but I commend you for trying! English isn't an easy language to learn. In response to what was written, though - Anyone who knows their future is a very, very depressed individual. No one is ever satisfied with knowledge; it's that element of choice or option to change that gives us hope; without that, we become depressed and feel trapped in a life that has already been decided for us, relinquishing any power over our lives that we could have, if we stop believing that everything is set in stone. It isn't, really. Everything that happens to us is dependent upon our own actions, and how we interact with others. We cannot change others; only ourselves. Therefore, any change we experience must be initiated by us.
Everyone has their fancy. But i don't get it why you fancy that the future is 'rewritten' when its supposed to be 'written'. It could work for the past cause the past can only be 'rewritten' and never 'written' but isn't the future always 'written'? Ok, i'm a bit confused now.
