Puzzle Heart

Puzzle Heart

A Poem by Cynthia

I finished the puzzle,
I hung it on the wall
but it fell,
all over the floor.

Just like my heart,
can be broken easily
the 'glue' is gone,
my glue broke my puzzle,
and he sticks others' instead

My puzzle has never been finish,
broken again and again,
no one else can be my glue,
only him,
only he can stick my heart.

As his wedding day comes,
my heart broke into more pieces,
his bride's heart is finished,
whatabout me?

I didn't attend his wedding,
I feared I would have screamed
cry,
or even turn crazy.

I just sat by the woods,
counting flowers,
you can't imagine,
how sad it was
how lonely it was

The wedding bell rang,
I don't think my puzzle can bewhole again,
hopeless,
lonely,
that's how I feel.

I cry again and again,
still,
that doesn't help,
my heart,
my puzzle,
will never be healed

It's very good. I love it...the ending was amazing but somehow I feel like it's one of your best works.

A powerful poem with a very sad story. Your detail and description made the story come alive. I would dodge wedding of old lovers. Sometime better to keep your distance then swim in old memories. You create a outstanding poem. The ending lines are true.
