Memories

Memories

A Poem by Cynthia

I looked at my diary,
I want to tear it,
but I know it's no use,
memories stays.

I try to forget it,
but more I want to,
the deeper I remember,
the love between us is hard.

Almost no one accepts us,
so I went away,
but it seems something stuck us,
together,
and I know what that is,
love.

Love rescued me,
and it sank me,
I am rescued,
cause of her,
I am sank,
cause of her.

I still love her,
not the her now,
but the one in my memory.

In my memory,
she's perfect,
but I know,
she's not.

So I just tink,
remember,
think of her perfect,
remembering our love,
forgetting other things,
memories perfect my life somehow.

But I am not sure will this last,
so I wait,
wait for the answer,
although the answer just give me pain,
I wait.

I love it. The poem is beautiful. You put pain together with not wanting to remember something that once was even though you still do. This is beautiful it's so descriptive one of the best I've ever read from you.
