"when the moon shall lose its glow"

"when the moon shall lose its glow"

A Poem by cynteevicks

When the moon shall lose its glow,
and the day breaks real slow,
in gay delight the sky shall smile,
as it ushers in the sunshine.

Nature shall rise in flight,
and embrace the morning light,
for buried hopes come alive,
enriched and forever bright.

Though time flows,
but gladly our heart knows,
that by the minute our treasure grows.

As the day gradually fades,
and becomes old and grey,
we shall return to our nest,
and lay our heart to rest,
in anticipation for tomorrows best.

its beautiful. your description of the moon is vivid; your personification of the sky, nature is impressive. There is so much imagery. It is a very rich poem
