Wings You Give MeA Poem by Cynthia ManSomething written for a Contest, and it's kinda a real story to me :)) Thanks for dropping time by.Invisible strings tying up my limbs restricting my movements and mind forcing me to hug myself so tightly, closing up the only door out. No matter how hard I scream, still, unable to resist the shocking force of which bound me to myself, losing grip of life, of hope, like a wounded bird. Fear conquering my heart like beast, unable to see anything but the darkness of my future Living as if dead, losing meaning of life, I stop hoping for being rescued. But then you come to me cutting off those strings with love and care, freeing me from my bound, settling me free , comforting me that everything will be ok. With love you teach me not to fear not to escape from anything again; With care you teach me to fight for myself, to resist upon unfairness with courage. You show me the magic of life, of being alive painting my world with vivid colors, giving me a chance to reborn in the way I'd never imagined. Thanks for being the person, who cure my bruises, who give me a new life, and to give me feathers to fly high, so I can stretch my wings wide, fearless.
