Cliffs And A Beach

Cliffs And A Beach

A Poem by Cylis Derrens
"

A poem about a painting I saw

"

Cliffs And A Beach

A great splash of blue
The waters recede
White crests rise and fall
Cliffs in the background
Blue skies above
The Rocks guard

Picture the sounds of birds
The crash of waves
The sound of the wind

Feel the warm sun
The cool wind
The high waters
So salty and cold

A picturesque scene
So lovely in its simplicity
It shows nature’s beauty

The sun sets
A beautiful sunset and darkness
