Mr. Connors was very nervous. His fingers were trembling as he turned right to the corner of 23rd street, heading for his apartment. He could sense someone was following him. He had every right to believe it. The contract he signed earlier in the evening promised to bring a lot of changes in his life, but he was aware it also meant he was subjected to great danger.
