Temporary Fix Of Disembodied Fervor

Temporary Fix Of Disembodied Fervor

A Poem by Brooke Wake
"

I like verbose titles sometimes.

"
Some days sting
Swollen with miserly conceit

Pressures of an open range shot
Decisive and sure
Rain a metallic shroud
Shrapnel fine as angel hair

Bleed mercury onto satin mind
Pool in unctuous beads to soothe

Placebo palindrome
Marking the end

Of hopeful half -life

Paul caused me to whip this up quickly...I'm hoping to not be enslaved by the occupational iron rods that impale my mental liberation from time to time. Spontaneity begets beauty, and so I intend to open up this chakra a little more often.

Anecdotal tea parties and laying around on the floor. Bare light bulbs and red, spacious, manual transportation. Cats and garlic. Mountains and words. The narrow spaces between us. Do not copy .. more..
