So--I'm Crazy

So--I'm Crazy

A Poem by Brooke Wake
"

A response to the opinion of a much-loved creative writing prof.

"
Crazy, stark crazy, she said.
To which I flew open my crazed
Wild cat eyes and saw a rippling spring
As it has never been seen
Through such yowling, irenic,
Sunflower madness
As mine.

You get alot said in a few words. is irenic a misspell...ironic?

i like the narrative conversational approach of this. Thanks
