More Her / Less Hurt

More Her / Less Hurt

A Poem by cyanhurricanes

her neck is a whirlpool of waves and dips

of ripples and rocks protruding elegantly

from beneath her weathered skin

her curves are beautiful,

as delicate as angelfish skimming the surface of her exotic waters

she is my ocean,

she is the rival of the sky and all its loveliness

and so here i sit,

between her tsunamis and sunny days,

stranded without even the slightest complaint.
