All I Want

All I Want

A Poem by C W Thorne

Raven hair frames blue eyes,

     countenance of the sun.

Angelic voice parts sweet lips,

     the earth stands silent.

Delicate hands that touch the soul,

     the wind lies still.

Loving arms that reach for me,

     the universe contained inside.

In those eyes
There is only you.
Sweet radiating pains
Of longing, of care,
My soul cries out.
Reality freezes
At your mere mention,
Shatters at your touch.
The fabric of my lucid slumber
Perfection at the very least.
It's you that more than any other,
I love.

:) You write so eloquently. It's as if these pieces come to your effortlessly. I'm at a loss for words upon reading your work at times. Like your talent with writing, you are flawless.
