Limbo City

Limbo City

A Poem by Casey Wakeford

I am a ghost tumbling along aimlessly.
I have lost my mother, my brother,
My husband, and my daughter.
I am from beyond the grave,
Simply a gathering of dust
And cold air.
I am not alive;
I will remain here,
In this graveyard,
for eternity.
My soul has lost its vanity,
And if I had any skin left,
It would fall off,
Along with my nails and eyes.
If the population of the world
could have a sixth sense,
What a surprise
It would be,
For the living to see,
How many phantoms lurk
In limbo city.

Hi, I'm Casey. I'm 18. Get to know me through my writing! I'm terrible at descriptions... Ironically. Be forewarned, just about everything I post is going to be personal. I'm somewhat of an o.. more..
