Night Daydreams

Night Daydreams

A Poem by Casey Wakeford

Burst through the door,
Out of the cold night's wind.
Sweep my off my feet
While the candles burn their wicks.

Lean down to kiss me,
While your hair flops forward with impish grace.
How boyishly beautiful,
Your incredible face.

Forehead to forehead,
Eye to eye.
Breathing softly,
Internal glowing.

No need to speak,
Because our minds are in sync.
My glorious young man,
You are the one.
You are indelible ink.

No need to speak,
Because our minds are in sync.
My glorious young man,
Very sensitive poem. Beautifully crafted. And I can feel the warmth of my dear girl. Nice.
