When Time Stops

My heart beats fast when I awake

And I see you staring into my eyes

I stretch my legs and throw my arm around your waist

I kiss you tender on your lips

The butterflies resurface inside me



Swept away on love I feel drunk

Intoxicated so innocently

You touch the inside of my thigh

Then goosebumps start to rise

I shiver and shake



I've never felt so alive when in your arms

The world stops when I'm with you

All time stops

I sigh

"I love you" you whisper into my ear
