it's been floating around on my computer for a while...

Look at her arms

See the doodles she’s drawn in ink?

Look past those.

To the marks that won’t wash off.

See them?

They are the real reason for the doodles.

To hide them and at the same time, let them be seen.

She wants you to notice, y’know that?

She needs you to notice.

So the next time you see her

Look past the hearts and music notes.

Look at her scars, see them for what they really are.

Look in her eyes.

Let her know…

That you’re there for her and you always will be

Let her know that she doesn’t have to be alone.

Believes.

That has the word ‘see’ in it…

As well as ‘lies’.

See through her lies. Help her.

Everyone else has brushed her off.

Stay there with her.

Love. Her.

It’s the least you can do.
