Fragile Stone

Fragile Stone

A Poem by Megan

They see a boulder, unshakeable, unmovable, and strong enough to withstand the world. What their eyes fail to see is the muck and mire on which the boulder rests. The suffocating darkness beneath threatening to drag that seemingly strong boulder down, down into the depths. But the boulder has no choice for it cannot move. It must remain, and appear indestructible while the world crashes in around it.

This is my first time, and honestly I used it to express myself. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.
