The Dark HorsesA Poem by Ranjan BiswasLovely but Vicious, Dark but gorgeous, Are they really The horses Who come in the darkness? The horses With the human heads? Or the horses with Wings like angels? I don’t really know. But when they come Come like a tornado, Blowing sands behind, Making the wind fanatical With the neighs Of those valiant horses. My soul trembles With the imagination Of the ferocity Of upcoming moment, But still I must admit I remain always Fervent for the vision Of those dark horses’ Flight in the dusk They come in my dream Make me sweat with Excitement and fierce But I must admit I keenly wait for them For days months and years. I hate them But I love them too! © 2010 Ranjan BiswasReviews
