I Remember You PoemA Poem by Ayahna.Gabriella Marie by Ayahna Hamilton I saw stars behind flooded eyes. Overflowing with emotions, she, a small piece of something bigger, entered a world too small for the dreams she’d create. I heard a shrill scream. Something akin to the sound of new life. Something so priceless. So clear. A clean slate, begging for colors. I felt An unyielding joy. A need to protect and guide. A love that can’t be explained. Can’t be shared by parents or friends or aunts or grandparents. A bond forming that can only be felt by siblings. Something we can keep tucked in between moments we’ll share. © 2015 Ayahna.Author's Note
