Night Eyes

Night Eyes

A Poem by JacobMarloe

night eyes blinded

by the light

feel through

darkened sight

graze cold flesh

silent frozen dread

emptying the thoughts

within her head

sounds of horror

creep into ears

raving nearing

coaxing fears

eyes now bulging

straining to see

lurking outside

cannot be

gray filmed sight

heart beat misses

skin ablaze

raped by frozen kisses

visions appear

nothing here

outcast gypsies

gathered round fire

calling to ancestors

on the pyre

men with pitchforks

attack at night

killing unknown

blinded fright

falling to death

meet the earth

perpetuating cycle

endless rebirth

I'm surprised this doesn't have any responses, because it is very good and deserves them.
