This is an insight, because we wait for the perfect moment and we wait for the perfect people to be around. Sometimes, we don't know what we are digging at, it could be mere bones or treasure. There is no way you can be sad, there is no way you can be perfectly happy. Merely, we are hanging in between because we can swing to the corner basis on our decision. Perhaps, this is how we fix things?

It's a wall without a limit, it's a road without an end (well except death, but that may well be another door)... a complex thing life and its subtleties!
I believe everything is necessary to experience something completely.
A deaf man can appreciate the beauty of the sunset but even he knows without his hearing, the experience is incomplete.
I am glad for your insights on the piece; thanks for the review, man.
Very insightful and thought provoking. It brings to mind the saying that refers to "instead of avoiding the thunderstorm we must learn to dance in the rain". Joy can be found in the most obscure places. Love this.

I must say, you have given me a lot of insight on what goes on, within the head of a depressed person in a unique and poetic way, that reveals the ailing thoughts of alonement (sorry, made up words just fit better what i try to say :)
Definitely dark, but there is reasoning within it which somehow makes the poem breathe - or is it just the speaker's lungs..?

The main idea was to suffocate and then provide those gasps of fresh air one has when they've begun healing.. I hope that was conveyed.
Thank you for your insightful review :)
This makes me think of depression, and therefore I relate to it greatly. This piece is remarkable and probably one I will read again in the future.

I agree with your words and opinion.
Thank you so much for reading, Sir.
Stonz: Beyond depression, hopeless desperation; we cannot predict the future; the choices we make may seem right, but sadness rolls the dice in this writing. We are faced with so many decisions; follow our dreams but all exspectations can lead to desperation accumulating; going through the motions of existence, thinking this is all? Attitrition; profound guilt with no easy remedies: and disappointments. It's like the death of all hopes; all aspirations. Death of a fulfilling life. Never have I read anything that literally feels like the writer has nothing left. Brilliant writing. I could quote but I love it all...only melancholy knocks at rotting doors with locks devoid of keys buried away within deep dead dreams of long lost hopes which perhaps the multitudes possess.
Thank you so very much once again. Dale

Must you even try
to know a soul that
has nothing to confide
even if you deny
it the right to be a fly
be free
free from your
questioning eyes
expecting cries
when the soul is nothing
but a .. more..
