Classic Movies

Classic Movies

A Poem by Catherine O'neill

Stop the clock

turn the damn thing back

color is hurting my head

I crave black and white

lull me into romance

unbelievable horror

total unadulterated, unchecked silliness

bring out the bleached blonds

and the tragic ingenues

the man in glasses and the painted-on mustache

and the silent one who speaks for all of

us clowns

Take me to a simpler sappier place

I am sooooo tired.

You are welcome...:)
Classic movies are fantastic! I've seen so many awful movies lately, it does make me miss the classics! Great job! :)
