A Poem by Stark

Deep
Into one of the worst moments of my life
Into one of the most unimaginable days of my 20s
I meet
My summer
A new beginning
A season full of so much passion, so much life
Something I feared I had lost
In the moments preceding these ones
I look up, eyes filled with poison and sludge
I could hear her voice, echoing, humming
Songs I never thought I would hear
from someone like her
What do I know?
I threw away my peace
For a lifetime of war
Life
Is never what you expect, what you plan it to be.
And that's just the beauty of it.
After all
Propaganda thrives in chaos, doesn't it?
Let it be
