Relationships. Both an ending and a beginning.

Relationships. Both an ending and a beginning.

A Poem by Stark

The thing about relationships is that after its over, you say things like ‘I dont care’ or 'I dont give a f**k where she is/goes’ or similar phrases like these (minus the vulgarity I hope), but in reality you never mean any of them. You just say these things to convince yourself, and other people that you’re alright.

You can never be alright, I think. By that I mean 'alright’ as you were before. You can be happy or hopeful again, or if luck and fate gets to you you can even try again with her, but there will always be that empty feeling in the back of your heart. But, even though bent and broken and tattered and filled with holes, you will always find a way to be happy again.

Be happy with yourself, with who you are as a person, all your flaws and imperfections, your ticks and your habits. With your family, your friends, your religion, your pets, your collection, hobbies, books, beliefs, love for music, nature. With your deadend job, your impossible schoolwork. With the stars, the sky, the sea, the wind.

Be happy. Love again, and keep loving until you find your one.

There is so much more to life than heartache. It may seem like everything is over, but it’s not. It can never be over, just a new beginning.
