Everlasting Tragedy

Everlasting Tragedy

A Poem by Carly Holtzman

Uncovering a bandage, everlasting tragedy,

Limp in a corner,

Soul lost, life gone.

Salty tears melt her cheeks, but

Perhaps, this isn’t it.

The puzzle pieces, the stars, may

Just be aligning.

A possibility to find peace in a

Mad, mad world.

This isn’t a sad poem.

It is a prayer within reality.
