July

July

A Poem by CRZ

It's July

A beautiful day
the kids just play

The weather has nearly reached its pinnacle
Night time seems so smooth and mystical

A drink served ice cold
Thank you's are given, nice & bold
It's already hot for all that fire
but let the story of life be told.

Paints a great picture. Has a great flow and rhythm. Makes you smile and think. "but let the story of life be told." That's a great place for all poets to dwell. Loved it.

Sounds like something other than iced tea is being drunk on that patio, Jason. Are more of those playing kids waiting in the wings now?

You put me at the scene, got me to see all of it. A wonderful descriptive piece; nicely done.
