Curiosity

Curiosity

A Poem by CRZ

Curiosity
this got the young boy killed.
it got that unprotected man ill.
this had gotten you to reach your full potential
it made you realize what are lifes essential
this made you realize that world isn't there for you
it made you think that no matter how red or how healthy your heart is
there is always space for ... blue
this made you tattoo it in your brain to never do it again
it got you neglecting everything negative including friends
this got me winning millions of dollars of the lottery
it got my attention & it was from the honest me
this got me thinking and on idle
it got my emotions dialogue on recital
this got the person discovering a new other side
it has you on the passenger side , while the car asks
   "Are you ready to drive?"
this got a girl with huge whole in her heart
it got this world ruined from the start
it got this world so easy on hiding the truth
this happens because we refused . get amused
                    and get duped!
Now you know

The wheel of curiosity needs to find the cart that carries the burden of itself for life. Without that it is merely spinning its wheels. Nice write.

Curiosity is one of the human traits like desire but too much and you can get hurt.
Great poem premise jason and great execution.

curiosity, objectionable quality. sometimes it makes me to lose patience. every so often it makes me to invent and discover.....the consequences of curiosity is really strange :)
lovely poem :)

Curiosity killed the cat :P
Well this is something we must do every time and we found new things which we call in human language as invention. Thus, Curiosity is to be there ;)
We all were curious to read more from this poem but this end very fast ( Kidding )
Loved it :)

But, without curiosity, we would still be primitive, living in caves, grunting at each other, fearing the dark, freezing in the cold, no light, no warmth...eating our food raw...and dying of illnesses that we barely even notice now. So much that we take for granted we would never have had if there had been no such thing as curiosity.
Still, as your poem points out so eloquently, there is a down side...

As the cat found out to his sorrow...

Your poetry always engages me and this poem is no exception. Curiosity has certainly been the cause of both triumph and defeat for most of us. Guess it all depends on what you are curious about. If you're curious because you want to cure cancer, then God bless you. If you're curious about your neighbor's personal business, then you deserve any flack you might incur when you start nosing around. Thanks again for getting my mind going. Nice work!

Again, incredible rhythms and intense narrative. I still sense music with this. Am I wrong?
