It's easier to be who you want to be.

When you forget who is around to see. 

But our egos and reputation 

is something we all care about

either on our everyday life or subconsciously 

Cause what they see in me , is part of the man

is something we all care about"--this is the truth. Reputation, what others think of us in terms of our deeds and our desires are important to us all.

I agree that we can be who we are best when we are not worried about what others think of us, but we must not forget the importance of being the kind of person who other people naturally hold in high regard; due to our deeds and willingness to be moral and generous human beings. Nicely done.

This is very inspiring. It tells that no matter what, you're always putting up a front when others are around. Whether you mean to or not. So, it's hard to show who you really are, when naturally you hide it with what you want people to see. I enjoyed the construction of this poem.
