Resentment

when i feel u near my body tenses up 

i hear ur voice n i just wanna tell u to shut up 

i can’t stand the way you talk the way you speak 

nor the way u stand on tippy toes when u can’t reach 

everything about you bothers me 

don’t touch me, don’t hold me, don’t hug me

It’s crazy to think that once upon a time u were my happy place 

you were my go to, you were my safe place 

then loving u became harder to do as time went on and you chose everyone over me, it went on and on

i loved you so much til it hurt to love you 

it’s been easier to resent you 

now I hate you 

too much hurt and i know hurt people, hurt people 

but i never want to let you hurt me again.
