maybe in another life we’re meant to be
there are many things in life that I haven’t seen
being with you things felt like that’s all i need

the goodbye didn’t feel like forever

i don’t think the idea of separating was clever

finding someone who understands is rare

but the bond was really so rare

being with you felt so natural
how alike we were was unnatural

you felt what I felt, there was no confusion
crazy, it made me feel like it was delusion

it felt like we were piecing ourselves together

like the synchronization of a choir humming

maybe this isn’t goodbye but a see you later
