Chapter 11 "Inseparable"

I slowly opened my eyes and then a familiar face greeted me. I jolted up and quickly pushed his chest away. The moment I touched his chest a chill ran down to my spine. "Oh sorry, did I scare you?" I stood up and glared at him. "What the hell were you doing? Do you want to kill me?" I put my hand on my chest to calm my pounding heart. "Look, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare, it's just that...y...you look beautiful when you're sleeping". He quickly averted his eyes and I can feel my cheeks grew hot. Oh my God this is embarrassing. A moment of silence and awkwardness filled the atmosphere. I opened my mouth to break the quietness of the room. "W...why don't you put on your shirt, I think it's dry already.""Oh yeah, thanks...uh...Elizabeth, about last night, the things I said last night...I truly me..." Before he could finish his sentence, I quickly shut him up with a kiss. My lips landed on his. His hands moved to face as if to savor my kiss. What am I doing? What's happening to me? My mind snapped back to reality and pushed him away. "I...I didn't mean to ki..." To stop me from saying something, Steve gently wrapped his arms around me. "Elizabeth, please... let me love you" I brought my arms to hug him back. Looks like I can't keep my feelings for him anymore. I can't stand to be apart from him anymore. The way he hugs me right now, I felt safe and secured. "Okay... I give up. Looks like I can't keep my feelings for you anymore. I love you Steve McKnight!" He brought his face to look at me with a big smile written in his face. "I love you so much Elizabeth Dillford!" He kissed me on the forehead and then gently kissed me on the lips.

"Elizabeth!" Ryan called me when I'm about to step inside the car. "Hey, what's up!""Can I ask a favor?""Yeah sure, what is it?""Can I ride with you?" He asked pleadingly. "Of course!, you can always ride with me. But where exactly is your car""Dad took it""Why? did you do something against the rules?""Yeah, kind of a long story!""Okay, I won't ask anymore. Hop in""Yay".

I parked the car in the parking lot. I turned off the engine and grabbed my bag and books in the backseat. "Thanks for the ride beautiful, see you at lunch" Ryan quickly ran off. After locking the car I strode towards the school entrance. As usual, boys always are getting flirty at me every time I walked in to the school. And I'm getting tired of their hi's and hello's every time they see me. But none of them seemed to grab my attention except Steve. The moment we first met, I'm already attracted to him. I don't know why but his charm seems so rare and extraordinary, where you can't find that kind of charm to other men. Ugh!! I'm just completely attracted to him like a magnet to a metal. "Oh, if it isn't the beautiful Elizabeth Dillford" I turned around to face the girl who called out my name. "Anna" She took a step forward to minimize the gap between us. She leaned in closer and whispered "Better watch your back beautiful", she winked and then walked away, leaving me dumbfounded.
