Last November

Last November

A Poem by CrystalBluePersuasion

I remember it was November
the last time my lips touched your flesh

We met yet again and you
brought me to my knees

Ceiling peeled back
walls crumbled to the ground
A stroll through the profound
you led as I followed into the stars
and vast universe

Realizing how minuscule my existence
Yet so loved, cherished and valued

I was a child again
complete freedom to roam
no walls
no ceiling
the world opened up before me

The last time we met
you showed me a new way
The entire milky way
swirled in laughter and glee
And everything was alright with you, them, us and we

I remember it was November
the last time we met
I remember it was November
the last time you touched me
