Your Pain is Unforgettable

Your Pain is Unforgettable

A Poem by Daniel Sterling

Look at yourself in the mirror

You like to keep with you

Have you changed at all

Or have you remained the same

No your still cold to the touch

Like ice on a cold december night

Are you proud to be this way

Heartless and unforgiving.

Your pain is unforgettable

Your actions swift and cruel

Your love false and untrue

Is there anything you cherish

Your pain is unforgettable

In the hearts of everyone you touch

Why not just rip the heart

From their chests

Save them the trouble

Save them the pain

No you could never be so kind

You could never be so forgiving

Your heart is covered in ice

Your soul shrouded in darkness

Your pain unforgettable

No your still cold to the touch

Strong words and so much emotion in the words. Sad to watch someone turn cold and heartless. Your poem told a tale of someone who got lost and can't find the light of hope again.
"Heartless and unforgiving.
Your pain is unforgettable
Your actions swift and cruel
Your love false and untrue
Is there anything you cherish"
Thank you for the amazing poem.

A few minor typos, but still very good. Another good poem. I loved it. Well penned.
