Never Letting Go

All we have been through all that was said

You have never let go nor have you fled

You fall asleep when I hold you beside me

Never letting go as time passes by thee

 

Try as I may to slip away from your embrace

Feeling someone better would fit in my place

Still you held on without a second thought

Even as I struggled to no end I was caught

 

It will take time for me to fully heal

For your love to break my insecurities seal

But I know it will happen for our love is true

I will never let go now that I have you
