That's what the whole concept is talking about, but it still reminded me that "there is no other universe, there may not be tomorrow, so if you want to do something, do it now." Lately, I have been hearing this phrase a lot in my peers: "Maybe we are together in another universe, I am living this life in another universe", you may never reach that universe, but even the thought that they are happy in another alternative order is enough to comfort people.
"Maybe I'm happier somewhere else" is a strange consolation, it's like not being able to make money yourself in this world and being happy but starving by saying "but atleast they make money".
What if there is no tomorrow? What if we really don't have another chance and this is our only life, I think that's why people have the belief in the afterlife. Don't get me wrong, I'm not talking about religions, but I think at some point people needed another life to experience consequences that they couldn't fit into this one.The phrase I hear the most from people who believe in the afterlife is: "We will meet in the afterlife and we will talk about it then" I don't know if people say this to escape from something or if they are really waiting to die for this confrontation. But hope is hope, right?
Faith is a wonderful thing, not everyone can have everything at the same time. The belief that there are other universes and other lives gives us this chance.
Thank you sir if you read it, your poem made me think deeply. It is very well written and makes people think, isn't it the most beautiful place a work of art can reach?
I agree Carl.
"to a single scenario.
No rehearsals
only one take
no do-over"
There are no do-over. Life teaches us to walk softly. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.

I firmly believe there is a point and also I have a firm disbelief in what if. Not sure if is allowed - as in not sure if a point and no what if are mutually exclusive. in any event, be well and thanks - carl
What if has led to some big thoughts in our time here om earth and will hopefully keep doing so as we strive for answers that in a way we need to think for ourselves and not trust goggles answers.
I remember as a kid I pictured death as a big black void, until someone told me that not even darkness would exist there. That still confuses me to this day, but now I think the only thing I know for sure is that as the destination gets nearer, the questions only grow and the answers are just as sparse as they've always been.
The only thing that makes sense in my head is that death will be a bit like the end of an old arcade game, where you hope against hope that a sign saying "Level 2" appears and we all get to play another game!
Well, there's worse things to wish for! 😃
