Man frequently runs after name and fame untill death. A sad truth of human life.
I'm loving your poems.

This poem reflects on how both moths and humans are drawn to seemingly attractive goals that can lead to their demise. A very deep poem.

True, the world itself is interesting mustless creations,
you're welcome
So many names come to mind of those whose fame just swallowed them whole, Garbo, Elvis, Cash, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, etc. Excess of drugs and alcohol abounded with rock stars and musicians of our generation. I think fame takes a special strength to manage. I'd never want to try to tackle that one. The fame of introverts seems somewhat safer being generally posthumous. I don't think I have much to be wary of on any account. ;)

I like this write so short but such insight to the bigger picture, this brought me back to Mexico now I'm a city boy but my brother-in-law took me to his land deep in the hills of Chihuahua Mex old country no electricity no cars, candle and lanters, we've be drinking a our pass time was when insects would hit the glass of the lanter. We would even bet, now the moths were stupid they land on the glass stuck, slow death but the mesqiutos would dive and die but our bet was how many would die but this pair of homeboys would not agree because the moths where still alive,on that's a loop hole. Thank you for sharing a great wrire.
How cold we had to wait for them to die, for me it brought memories because I actually felt something but your write so true because Mexico is what I not believe but I understand the difference that we are the because we live by the same rules.good write because you made me wonder will be blinded by the we see is fire.
Thank you for sharing.

Indeed, celebrity can be a lethal thing. People struggle to get it and then fear they'll lose it. It's no wonder so many famous people die wretched deaths.
