i really liked these three short works.
Walk Of Life is a reminder that we all need that the road is long and hard but we can choose to take our time if need be.
we don't often find poetry about Dreams recently, but these private realities should be paid attention to. they can sometimes be senseless, but at other times they are revelational.
the last one was my favourite. memories i have kept 'til now echo through the caverns of my mind and these snapshots are all i have.

We live life at a certain pace, including dreams to fulfill and those dreams that fill our sleep...
Making reality out of it all....leave us snapshots with blurred edges...
life can blur like our dreams...and then we feel our life is scattered in pieces.
I like how you did the form, but more than that...I found connection of all three pieces...and I found connection to them at this point in my life.
Wonderful work, carl.

Each of these brief poems speak in their own way of the experiences of a life, and probably of many lives. Walk of Life seems to place most importance on how you live your life. Dreams deals with aspirations, which, while sincere, do not pan out. Memories describes our life experiences and how we recall them, paradoxically both scattered and blended.
I enjoyed reading these. It's nice when our snapshots and dreams come in vivid color. But those old black and white daguerreotypes sometimes just have to do. You did well, my friend. F.

I love quatrains and these are good ones. I particularly loved the middle one it was so poetic in its wording and images the first two lines were sublime. As always you never disappoint.
