Fractured History - part I

Fractured History - part I

A Poem by carl

Fractured History: part I

Deceived by lying lips

we would be gods

know right and wrong

against all odds.

First half was best

didn't need the rest

out of the garden

into the woods

adios neighborhood-

sword at the door.

Ensconced in cave

fire discovered

charcoal obtained

first animal art-

tools from rocks

rudimentary starts.

Wow! Such a refreshing look at history, evolution.
"First half was best
didn't need the rest
out of the garden
into the woods"
A perfect way to express the expulsion from the garden. As Sir George Frasier took this in his book "The Golden Bough" The king of the woods the last remnant of deity in human form had to survive by his sword on threat of daily death defending his kingdom the woods. A masterful poem Carl
