The Errant TravelerA Poem by carlTo me hope seems to come and go of it own accord. The Errant Traveler:
This vision against an ashen sky seen only with a mortal’s eyes- tapestry trees as lovely brides cascade softly in gossamer light. Creation’s Pythagorean spheres counter winter diurnal rhythms- Thomas Cole allegory cathedral as seraphim light hills terrestrial. Sprites wings escape earth’s tilt on slipstream light of first dawn- night veil lifted invokes a peace that ferry the darkest fears away. Soul’s grand momentary notion no yearning summons answers- no grasp will hold an exclusion of constant melody and refrain. Not the place where hope abides but this is where his truth resides- in a likeness repeatedly inscribed the Errant Traveler still remains. © 2023 carlFeatured Review
