ALIENS

ALIENS

A Poem by Crusaderscross

An untamable space of collective stupidity

Hope of goodness, hope of truth
washing away when one of them is born

It grows with every selfish thought
slowly choking the life from those who resist

Unable to stop this growing plague,
the infection by unknowing parasites begins

Billions have been bread
All of them knowing one word...ME

I carry the burden, not the joy
that I am part of this disease called...HUMANITY

Humanity is the disease but wouldn't it be nice if we could really be a cure, where everyone wins...and I mean really wins. Nice job on this. I like your word choice and descriptions in this piece, you made it very very interesting to read.

"An untamable space of collective stupidity"

Sometimes, people can really rub me that way. I definitely related to that line, it gave me kind of a chuckle.

that I am part of this disease called...HUMANITY

This is a bold and very concise statement that all too many people would shrug off. Humanity truly can be viewed as a parasite of the planet, slowly depleting resources and consuming everything in sight. Nice work.

Ah, you strike right to the heart of me these days, Crusader. Humanity is the disease I contemplate daily between the light and the dark, always left with more questions than I can answer. This writing is brief, concise in your poetic prose, and the clarity of it is strikingly powerful.

Good! I feel that way sometimes. Anyways i liked the lines
'I carry the burden, not the joy
That I am part of this disease called 'HUMANITY' '
It shows the frustration beautifully.
